 BIOGRAFIA
Paola Piantavigna e Giancarlo Fasoli sono nati a
Verona.
1975: nel Delta del Grande Fiume con lo studioso del
linguaggio negativo A. Rossin identificano nuovi codici
informativi per visualizzare la funzione
"uomo/ambiente".
1986: sperimentano con il critico d'arte L. Serravalli la
comunicazione degli opposti.
1987: progettano il primo "Spazio Interattivo".
1990: pubblicano, con il critico d'arte P. Restany, il
"Libro Verde" sul concetto spazio-tempo.
1993: adottano il logo "Fasoli m.& m." e Paola collabora
full-time nella ricerca.
1994: negli stati del centro-ovest del "continente indiano"
verificano l'effetto che l'eccesso d'informazione ha sul
comportamento umano.
1995: nelle regioni nord del Kenya, vivendo con le
tribù Pokot, Samburu e Turkana, apprendono la lettura
dei segni scritti dal tempo sulla pelle dell'uomo e sul
territorio.
1996: con le tribù Shan e Karen, nello stato del
Myanmar, condividono quotidianamente l'omeostasi
uomo/ambiente.
1997: con alcuni sciamani delle tribù dei Blackfeet,
degli Ute e degli Hopi, negli USA, apprendono il concetto di
"confine dello spazio".
1998: a New York e a Parigi ampliano la loro visione della
realtà.
1999: interagiscono con i contesti delle città di
Londra e Mumbay.
2000: proseguono il loro percorso artistico e filosofico a
New York, Venezia e Firenze.
2001: sfuocano la necessità di definire togliendo i
confini dal loro territorio e mostrano l'uomo nella sua
dimensione quotidiana.
Visualizzano la loro ricerca con installazioni,
performances, video, fotografie e pitture digitali.
Il loro studio è a Martignano (Tn),
Italia.
 BIOGRAPHY
Paola Piantavigna and Giancarlo Fasoli were born in
Verona.
1975: in the Delta of the "Big River" they, together with
the researcher of
the negative language A. Rossin, start the search of
new
signs in order to visualise the relationship between "man
and environment" .
1986: they experiment the communication of the opposites
along with the art critic L. Serravalli.
1987: they project their first "Interactive Space".
1990: they print the "Green Book" concerning the concept of
time-space, together with the art critic P. Restany.
1993: Paola starts to collaborate full-time at their
projects, subsequently creating the logo "Fasoli m.&
m."
1994: in central India they prove the effect of excessive
information on human behaviour.
1995: in the northem regions of Kenya, with the Pokot,
Samburu and Turkana tribes, they learn to read the signs
written by time on the skin of the human body and on the
environment.
1996 they live in the Myanmar with the Shan and Karen
peoples experimenting the homeostasis man/environment
1997 they live in the States with the medicine-men of the
Blackfeet, Ute and Hopi tribes learning about the "limits of
space"
1998: they live in New York and Paris widening their idea of
the reality.
1999: they interactive
with the contexts of London and Mumbay.
2000: they continue their artistic path in New York, Venice
and Florence.
2001: they reduce the necessity to define taking away the
borders of their territory and showing the man in his
ordinary life's dimension.
Their search is visualized by installations, performances,
videos, photographs and digital paintings.
Their atelier is in Martignano (Tn), Italy.
